Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 22, 2026

IASLadder Blog (blog.iasladder.com) is an educational content platform for UPSC, State PCS and CSAT aspirants. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit this blog, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information We Collect

We do not require you to create an account or provide personal information to read articles on this blog. The information we do process includes:

  • Usage data, collected automatically via Google Analytics (GA4): pages viewed, approximate location (derived from IP address), device/browser type, and how you arrived at the site.
  • Search queries you type into the on-site search box, used only to return matching articles for that request; we do not build a profile from these queries.
  • Cookies, set by Google Analytics and by third-party services we embed (Google Fonts, YouTube video embeds on some articles, and content-delivery networks used to load site styling/scripts).

We do not currently display third-party advertisements on this blog. If that changes in the future, this policy will be updated beforehand to disclose the ad network(s) used and how they process data.

How We Use Information

We use the usage data described above to understand which articles are useful to aspirants, improve site performance, and fix broken content. We do not sell your information to third parties.

Third-Party Services

This blog links out to the main IASLadder platform (iasladder.com) for apps, test series and other paid/registered features, and to our official social channels (Telegram, X, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp). Those destinations are operated separately and governed by their own privacy policies — we encourage you to review them before providing any personal information there.

Children's Privacy

This blog is intended for civil-services exam aspirants and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Choices

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, and opt out of Google Analytics tracking using Google's official browser add-on. Doing so may affect certain site features (e.g. embedded videos).

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the blog after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
